About Us

The Alabama Mental Health Counselor Association is the largest organization in the state that exclusively serves Mental Health Counselors and Licensed Professional Counselors. We provide workshops for continuing education credits, networking opportunities for professionals, and helpful resources for those in practice and counselors-in-training. In addition, we work with the state legislature on behalf of LPCs to promote rules and regulations that support the discipline of counseling in general and mental health specifically.
